Tess Bower Gist
is a
graduate of Susquehanna University in Music Education and has
been teaching voice in the area for the past few years. She is
a regular on the CTL stage, playing leading roles in
Jekyll and Hyde, Oklahoma!, Lucky Stiff,
and most
recently in
The Honky Tonk Angels.
Jacquie Engel is a familiar figure around CTL, working as CTL’s graphic designer during the day and directing or music directing at night. Her CTL credits include Jekyll and Hyde, Cabaret, Beauty and the Beast, The Taffetas, Gypsy, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change.
Marie Fox has been directing and teaching English, Theatre Arts, Speech and Communications courses in the area since 1994. She is the Drama Teacher/Director for WAHS where she has written and established the Theatre Arts curriculum. In addition to directing main stage shows, she is the creator/director of the improvisation troupe “Without A Cue.” Julia Ferguson Hulslander first came to Williamsport in 1977 to teach at West Branch School. Since then, she has taught theater and art, and has performed as a storyteller and mime to numerous camps, schools and organizations in PA & NY. Julia is currently teaching at St. Luke’s Pre-school.
Steve Hulslander is a teacher at The West Branch School, where his students tackle plays such as Shakespeare’s The Tempest, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Odyssey and The Iliad. Steve has been active in area theatre for the past 30 years.
Gail Landers is a preschool teacher and has been active in children’s theatre since minoring in drama in college. She is a storyteller, often working with local libraries and children’s organizations, a CTL board member and community volunteer.
Lorrie Staivisky is an English/Drama teacher at East Lycoming High School. She heads production planning and is a member of the CTL board of directors. Lorrie has directed such CTL shows as The Fabulous Fable Factory, Honk!, Pippin, and Charlotte’s Web.
