Under the direction of Sandy Dougherty, the group has assembled a script of short, funny skits, tales and one-liners. Pieces will include skits by “The Bickersons” as well as some newer works. With titles like “Bertha’s Annual Sponge Tour” and “A Healthy Dose of Insanity,” there are bound to be laughs all around.
Members of the group include Ethel Drier, Gene Drier, Ann Jackson, Judy Leeser, Marlene Millward, June Mitchell, Larry Rhinehart, and Janet Yoas.
Readers Theatre is a low-key, script-in-hand approach to theatre, great for those who want to try their wings on stage, but don’t want to memorize lines.
